Aaron Gabriel Perry is a native of Milwaukee, WI, and on September 11, 2005, he became the 1st African American insulin dependent diabetic to complete the Ironman Triathlon consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run in history. Aaron later opened the nation's 1st health center inside a barbershop and in 2018, TIME Magazine selected Aaron among the top 50 people in healthcare for thinking outside the hospital. He currently serves as a national speaker, consultant, and nonprofit leader focused on expanding men's health education and clinical services into barbershops and other innovative spaces.
